when u go dress shopping ???

the lady told me panty hose, strapless bra, under garments, etc..

what did u bring with you when u went ??

I dont want to bring like a suitcase of stuff

I didn't bring anything. I showed up in ripped jeans and flipflops with wet hair. Oh, and my bra was neon pink so I needed to use one of their's. The lady at the store sure had her work cut out for her.

But she pushed me to try on a particular dress that became MY dress, so I love her for that.

I brought a strapless bra because I didn't want to be hiking it up all day. Don't wear a thong! You're going to be undressing in front of someone, more than likely, or you'll at least need help zipping up. I brought shoes, but I didn't really use them. The dresses were too big and I fell once and decided no way, I'm going with the little flip flops they left for me in the dressing room. (Thanks Village Bridal!) Bring a bottle of water, it's hard work changing in and out of those heavy dresses. ANd eat before you go!! It was a loooong car ride from Village Bridal when I got sick on the way home.

ETA: Don't bring too many people- too many opinions flying around. And bring a camera, they might let you take pics!

Strapless bra and seamless boyshorts. I wore a thong the frist time and talk about AWKWARD! So I wore boyshorts to pick up my dress. Good luck!!!

I didnt bring anything and i regreted it. I showed the poor lady my butt because I was wearing a thong and I didnt wera a bra. I wa all messed up...

LOL SORRY I THOUGHT YOU MEANT DRESS FITTING I AM GOING TO MINE NEXT WEEK AND THATS ALL IM THINKING ABOUT
FOR DRESS SHOPPING I DIDNT BRING ANYTHING NO UNDERGARMENTS OR SHOES AND IT WAS FINE!!

I hear that! But I'm the first out of my friends and both families to get married so everyone wanted to go. Their feelings would've been hurt if they didn't get to go!

And I wore a thong the first time, too. Poor lady took it in stride. I'm sure she's seen more azz than a toilet seat.

Same here! Oh, and I also wore shoes with a little bit of heel because one place I went to, they made me wear these funky azz shoes that were all nasty!

- Strapless Bra
- you can bring shoes if you want but it isn't necessary... some places actually have shoes for you to put on if you want.
- no thong, unless you don't care if they lady sees your booty ... i'm too embarrassed lol
- camera just in case they let you take pics - some places won't let you unless you are officially purchasing the dress.
- water
- a little snack

I brought full underwear, strapless bra, and shoes.

Make sure you eat before you go! You don't want to get hungry and frustrated while trying on gowns!
