What to buy a 7 year old ring bearer

I know there is a post about ring bearer gifts below, but my nephew is a little older. Any ideas?

How about:

DVD movies
Interactive books (i.e. Leap Frog series)
Video games (if he plays with them)
A backpack and some school supplies
Gift certificates to Chucky Cheese or places like that
Adventureland or Splish Splash

I have noticed by working in an elementary school that many boys in 2nd grade and older start to really get into sports. Maybe a ticket to a game or a jersey from his favorite team...

Jillians is big these days. Although, what about a medal on a chain or some other type of keepsake as well? He may not appreciate it now, but it would be nice to have something to remind him of the day when he gets older. this with one of those other things would be nice! good luck! I don't have any ring bearers or flower girls, :(.

We have 2 ringbearers that are right around that age, just a bit younger. We got them baseball bats which are personalized. The bat is a regulation size bat, and where the normal logo goes will have our last name. The bat says 'All Star Team' and has the child's name and our wedding date on it as well. We got them online at www.proinsignia.com, and if I remember they were around $30-40. If he is interested in sports maybe something like that would be good.
