What to do?

What to do?

Okay, FSIL just called to ask if I had sent invitations to some members of FI's extended family. She said they were on a list which she had originally given me, but I lost it on my computer about a year ago. These folks seem to be a little upset that they weren't invited. I don't care about inviting them, really, just to keep the peace. But it is now three weeks before the wedding and I don't have any leftover invitations so I am not sure how to handle it. Advice?

Maybe you could make up some nice invitations quickly on the computer. Office Max and Staples sell wedding invitation kits that come out really nice. And maybe you could include a little note inside saying how your computer crashed and you had lost their names and it was just realized and you apologize.

wow thats a tough one. could you call them and/or write them a note tell them that your sorry that there was a mix up and you would like to extend a late invataion? I would probably do it in a note with the information and an apology and them leave the final decision up to them. You could even make a responce card on the computer or something.
