what to do?

what to do?

so i JUST realized that i never got my cordials bar at my wedding ... i asked several guests but nobody saw it either (so it's not just that i missed it because i was busy).

it was in my contract but was a free add-on that i was given ....

should i call and complain to the RH? if i do, what do i say? can i still ask for money back or something because i didn't get something that i was supposed to?

or should i just let it go since it obviously wasn't that important considering i didn't even realize till today

TIA

Were you pleased with the rest of the party? I wouldn't complain unless you were charged.

yeah, everything else was great ... and it was a free add-on as i had mentioned so we didn't pay for it

... i guess i'm being greedy cause i was annoyed that they charged me for 5 people even though i had discussed with them that those were maybes (the banquet manager himself said we wouldn't need to pay for them ... and then he came back and said we did)

Honestly, if everything else was great I would let it go. Obviously it wasnt that important if you just realized it now. Plus it was a free add-on anyway.

I would just let it go at this point.

Yupp, our RH did the same thing to us. The nature of the business I guess.

But what would you stand to gain? There's no money for them to refund, they can't go back and set it up at the party, so all they can really do is say 'Sorry, we effed up.'

Now if you had noticed it on the day of, I would've said something cuz then they could've ran in the back and set it up right quick!

You can ask but your never going to get money back now that your event is passed.

Half the stuff we agreed upon for cocktail hour wasn't there... it happens I guess. I was going to complain and then i decided it wasn't worth it. there was so much food anyway and everything was ok.

Let it go. You didn't pay for it. I doubt they'd give you $$ for a freebie.
