FH and I booked our officiant already. We've sent her a decent chunk already, (we are having 2 ceremonies)...Well, we have been aggressively trying to get a hold of her now for a few weeks, and to no avail. Mind you, FH spoke with her before labor day, and she told him she would call us the following week. Am I over-reacting by wanting to cancel her services? I feel like she might be setting the precedent for whats to come in terms of her getting back to us.....What would you do??

That's a tough one. I don't blame you for questioning your choice. You want someone reliable. Does this person have a store front you can visit to get in touch with them? Check the better business bureau to see if they have any other complaints against. them.
