What to do about step-parents ... I have a program question
The FH's parents are both divorced and remarried. On the program under Groom's parents, we put Mr. Groom's Father and Mrs. Groom's Mother. What do I do about the step-parents. Should I include them under groom's parents, or should I put them under a separate heading, say 'honorary attendants'. Neither raised him, but his stepmother has been around a lot longer. His real mom just remarried last year. We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but we also think that his real parents should be under that heading. Complicated, huh? Opinions/Comments/Suggestions, Please! :-) Thanks in advance!

Can you do a heading that says Groom`s Father & Stepmother and another that says Groom`s Mother & Step Father? I would try to do it so they are not listed as honorary attendants but rather that they are listed with their spouse. I think it looks nicer like that.

What to do about step-parents ... I have a program question
I have experience in this department with my parents and husbands divorced and some remarried several times.
I put Brides Parents and listed
Mom and boyfriend (sort of stepdad)
Dad and Stepmom
Under Grooms Parents I listed
Mom and Stepdad
Dad
Ex-Step mother (don't ask)
I didn't name them as mom, stepmom, stepdad or anything like that. This way there is no hurt feelings and if you list them the same way under each side -- mom first line, dad second line, etc.

I had the same problem as you, both of my husband's parents are remarried, but he just told me to put his mother & father's names down. So I did this:
Parents of the Groom: Mary Smith
John Doe
My husband doesn't call them his 'stepfather' or 'stepmother' -- he says 'my mother's husband', etc. Don't get me wrong, he gets along really well w/both of them, but he feels that they're not his parents, so he doesn't refer to them in that way.
Now, when they walked into the reception, I had them announced like this: Mother of the Groom escorted by her husband -- Mary & Bob Smith
Father of the groom escorted by his wife (or something like that) -- Mr. & Mrs. John Doe
Hope this helps! What did you do about albums and video?

Thanks ladies ... I will talk to the FH! Bearsbabe,
as for the albums - we got one for each set. So that's 3. That part was easy, because one for his mom, one for his dad and one for my parents. For the video, I have not a clue! I have to talk to the FH about this one too. Thanks for bringing it up. That's hard because I think I would like a wedding picture of my parents and if we do my parents and not his, I look like the mean fiance. :-( He has to decide because it's his parents, I can only give him my opinion, which is plenty! :-) It's hard for me to relate, because my parents are still together and they both raised me!
His mom already said something because her name was not on the invitation. Can you believe that? They are not helping us with the wedding and my parents are hosting (paying for) our reception. Did she honestly think that I was going to put her name too. I got a remark for that one. Thank God, the FH sticks up for me! His dad wasn't upset though - he paid for both his daughter's weddings and put his name on their invite!
Oh God! Help me! :-)

This is what I would do:
Groom's Parents:
Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
Mr. & Mrs. Joe Blow
This way, everyone is happy!

I agree with Elizabeth. I would put Mom and Step dad and Dad and Step mom. Although the step parents did not have any part in raising the groom they are important to the grooms parents.
