What to do about yellowing nails?

Anybody know how to get the yellow tint out of nails, from repeated nail polish use? I think maybe lemon juice or bleach, but don't remember exactly. Thanks.

I've heard of lemon juice. If it doesn't work then it might be fungus. They make Lamisil to take the fungus out of nails.

This isn't a solution, but I just keep mine polished!!
I've gotten them yellow-free by scraping the top layer off after a shower (they're soft then) but I always end up polishing them anyway because I like it better!
I wouldn't recommend my scrapingmethod though. It weakens the nails.

I keep the polish off for a long time and let bright healthy nails grow back in.

Actually, I'm not a big user of nail polish on my fingernails. (I do my toes up all the time, though!). Someone once thought I had a French manicure, but it was just my natural nails with a coat of clear polish.

I think it's healthy to let your nails go bare for a while. But that's just my 'purist' opinion...

haha, I thought everyone would think it's gross! I am going to try lemon juice tonight. I also heard hydrogen peroxide & water, so I'll try that too. I'll let you know how it works, Lauren! Thanks, ladies!

vicks vapor rub can sometimes get rid of toenail fungus. i read about this in newsay.
