What to do after an Afternoon Wedding

We're getting married on a Sunday afternoon/evening (reception ends at 4:30pm) in August

I am doing an after party at a lounge since my wedding ends at 6:00 pm.

Our wedding ended at 8 on a Sunday. We invited a bunch of people back to my parents for an afterparty. It was very casual. Some people jumped in the pool, we snacked on appetizers, but mostly just hung out.

When my friend had a similar situation, she rented out a room in the hotel most of us were staying at. We ordered a hero and hung out there, in their outdoor pool, and at the hotel bar. Both were nice ways for everyone to keep the celebration going!

We are driving back to Ohio the next day, so there will be no after party, haha.

i would go to a bar haha...i know some people go to the bar in the hotel that they booked rooms with and close out the bar there and then go right up to their room. if i was having a day wedding and wanted an after party...that's what i would do

Our wedding ends at 8pm, I plan on heading back to the hotel bar to continue the party

We're actually renting out a conference room in the hotel. The bar is in the hotel lobby and we wanted something a little more private. We're also getting our own private roll in cash bar. Its costing us $300 for the room and bartender. We'll probably bring in some snacks and maybe an ipod as well. Our wedding ends at 5 so we wanted to do something for after. We'll probably get the room from 7-11.

We went bowling afterward!!! It was so much fun..but we were really tired so we ended it at 8:30pm. We also had the photo & video guys there to capture it and the photos were soooo cool.

We're also going back to the hotel lounge, where there will be a bartender. I just want everyone to be able to chill and we'll be able to hang out. I imagine the wedding is going to be a blur and it will be nice to unwind with everyone.

we are having an afterparty back at the hotel- they have a pretty big lounge/bar area w/ bartender. then having more food delivered around 8-9 or so (reception ends around 6)

We are just going to go back to the hotel and spend time with each other. We feel it wil lbe a very early day and we will probably be exhusted afterwards. Plus most of our guests will be older and I dont think they will want to do an after party

i think a bar or an afterparty at someone's house would be the best. then u can go to the suite..

An after party at a lounge would seem ideal if yourself and FH are still pumped. That way it gives you time to mingle and kick back with families and friends.

Our wedding ended at 5 pm on a Saturday. We rented out a conference room at the hotel were we stayed at and brought in alcohol, food and hooked up our ipod. Many guests went to the party including ones that stayed at the hotel. I am really glad we did this.

our wedding ends at 630 there is a bar at east wind where our RH is and where we are going to stay that night so we are just going to hang out at the bar and then have a few rooms for some of our friends to crash in so there wont be any drunk driving.
