What to do for broke toe(s)??

FH and I were in the pool today, and just were joking around....having a blast....well,. as we were swimming, there was some other kids in there whom swam right at us, almost knocking us in the head, so we had to quickly stand up/get out of the way...

In the process, I smashed my foot (t ifeels like the 3 middle toes) into the bottom of the pool (we wer ein the shallow nd) and since then it has been an on and off throbbing pain...

I know the doc cannot do ANYTHING for broken toes.....but should I put it in gauze or anything like that?? Wedding is less than 40 days away...I wanna be 100%!

I think you are supposed to tape them up so they don't move around. I did that when I broke my baby toe. Taped the sucker to the toe next to it.

You might want to go to the doctor anyway since your wedding is so close. Good luck!

Yup - they just tape the toes together. (I learned this when i ran, literally, into the bathroom when i was 11 and broke my pinky toe).

Go to the doctor though to double check.

Well, I know that with ONE toe, if you can get a small wooded splint to tape it against, it would be good because it will keep the broken toe straight.

But, I have no idea in the world what to do with 3 broken toes...

I agree. When I broke my pinky toe they had me tape it to the toe next to it. But if your 3 middle toes are broken you can't tape them all together.

I would go to the doctor and see what they say.

Holly is it is 3 broken toes go to the dr. That could affect the way you walk!!!
