I need some suggestions for my FH's birthday. His birthday is on Dec 28th and I don't know what to do to make it special. Last year I took him to the Poconos to go snowboarding.We stayed at Fernwood for 2 nights and I took him out to dinner. The year before that I took him out to Mars 2112 and then to Caroline's Comedy Club. For my B-day this year he took me out to dinner and to see Wicked on broadway. He likes videogames, movies and wrestling. Does anyone have good suggestions of what to do? Have any of you done anything unique or really fun that you can suggest? Thanks!

Monday night RAW (wrestling) is at the Meadowlands on Dec 28th, actually.
(Sorry, FH is a huge fan.... He's been telling me he wants to go...... )

Thanks a lot!!!!! I just bought tickets. They only had upper level available. I hope we can see the stage. I wanted to get him floor seats, oh well. Okay now I guess I need a nice restaurant for dinner. I guess we should pick one near the Meadowlands so we can go earlier to beat the traffic. Does anyone know a good restaurant by the meadowlands?

I just wanted to thank you again beachbum05!! This is why I love LIW. I now have his birthday planned I'm going to take him out to eat at one of these restaurants in NJ; La Reggia, Bareli's, II Villagio, or Romanissimo Ristorante, not sure which one. Then off to the Meadowlands to see Monday Night Raw (wrestling ). I'm going to keep everything a complete surprise. I'm going to just drive him there and not tell him what we're doing.

There's a really good BYOB Italian restaurant in Rutherford, just a bit west of the Meadowlands.
ETA: I just googled it, it's called Paisanos and it's on Park Avenue in Rutherford.

My FH isn't getting much for his birthday this year....it's 2 weeks before our wedding. I got him tickets to Les Mis for his Christmas/Birthday because I just CAN'T afford both occations right now. I don't know how some of you are affording all these vacations, because right now....my budget is SHOT! jealous
