What to do instead of 'armpit tunnel'

When FH and I are introduced at the reception, we DO NOT want to do the 'armpit tunnel' where we would walk under the raised arms of our BP.
Any ideas of what else we could do? Do we have to do anything or can we just start our first dance?

...And before I post, this is JMO and the last thing I want to do is offend others who are doing it.

yeah i have such a small BP it would be stupid to do this so everyone is just going to go in and stand around the dance floor and clap for us woohoo lol

I def dont want the armpit tunnel or anything of that sort, I think we will just start dancing while our BP is in the back of us or just spread out on the dance floor???

We are coming out of the wall and down the stairs and i dont want the armpit tunnel...

I just want them to clap and cheer for us.

Do you remember back in Junior high when all the guys would make a line across from all the girls and then one at a time, a couple would pass through the center of the line and show off their 'best' dance moves? That would be really cute to do at the wedding..... each coupple of the BP can dance their way into the RH and then stand opposite eachother. and then you and FH came dance through the center of them.....ok, maybe its a little cheeze but it could be cute

Its cheeze, but such a fun idea! I know my BP has some sick moves they could bust out Well at least the girls do. We'll def do this later in the night. I love a good dance off!

I've decided that we're just going to have them stand off to the side and cheer and clap when we come in

oh how I despise the armpit tunnel. My sis (moh) is trying hard to convince me otherwise, I told her when it's her turn she can do it twice one for her and once for me.

I think we'll just to the stand around the dance floor clap thing also.

besides i dont think FH wants to be the center of attention as much as i do.. so he'd rather do that than circle the dancefloor along and dance..

or, you can go what djs calla meet and greet. After your entrances, they tell everyone to make a circle on around the dance floor and you and fh run around the circle giving high 5s and stuff. Our dj does it so the bride and groom get to interact w/ all guests and no one can say that you didn't say hello to them.

we are not doing it b/c i personally don't really like the idea, but i figured i'd mention it incase you liked it.....lol

that's a good way to get everyone on the dance floor!
