What to do w/ extra BM dress?

What to do w/ extra BM dress?

Well, I went and saw the BM dresses for my wedding which are in. They came out real nice too. So, now I have a problem. As some of you may know FIL's are horrible and they are not letting FSIL and FBIL come to the wedding, let alone participate. The problem is that FSIL is 15 and even though she wants to participate, there is nothing we can do. However, she signed a contract and the bridal salon said she will be responsible for the dress. They said they will call her when she does not claim it. The problem is that I don't think a 15 year old should be getting calls like that. I know this is not my problem really, but I don't want to make things worse then it is already. What, if anything, can I do? I can't afford to pay the balance and FMIL is saying I f***ed her over because I made her lose money on a dress (meaning the deposit). This is not my fault and I did not throw her daughter out of the BP, she won't let her participate.

So, any advice?

I can not wait until this wedding is over!

It is your FMIL responsiblity...she is her mother. A 15 year old kid, should not be responsible to pay for the dress.

I agree, but they put FSIL's cell phone as the contact number and her name is on everything. I don't know why they put her name on the contract to begin with...she's 15!

This is just too rude. Sorry that the future in-laws are giving you such trouble. I feel your pain.

I was previously engaged and we broke off our engagement a few months before the wedding. All of my BM dresses were ordered. They all had to pay for them and pick them up. I felt so bad especially for my junior BM. They were too young to be responsible for something out of there control. I ended up paying for there dresses and then I posted them on EBAY and got all of my money back and some.

I'm not a laywer, but I don't believe that a 15y/o can enter into a binding contract b/c of her age - she's too young to give a consent to a contract. Maybe one of the lawyer-brides know??

People move and change their numbers. We moved 6 months before wedding and changed all our contracts. So put FMIL's number on the contract.
