What to do when your salary isn't enough?

we have commitment offers, but I guess the underwriter was basing them on olur NY salaries. Our new jobs in GA aren't as much as what we were making in NY......I'm so afraid we might lose the house!!!

I don't know I'm so sorry! Maybe you can get second jobs for now?

Get a family member to co-sign. They obviously aren't going to look at your NY salaries because you won't be working there.

Did you use any of those mortgage affordability calculators against your new salaries? If your debt/income ratio is less than 28%... then I don't see why you can't get the house.
