what to do with an e-party gift!!!!

so FH and i received one of those one cup coffee makers for our e-party. a the time we decided to return it and get a regular coffee machine. FH hates the way the one cupper coffee tastes. we both have them at work and FH would rather buy coffee then drink the free stuff. i only drink coffee once in a blue moon becuase i really dont care for the taste either.

anyway!

when we were registering, we again discussed returning the one cupper and buying a new one, without registering for one. (all our gifts were at my parents house out east so we didnt have it to return this whole time)

NOW that its in our hands, FH feels bad to return it because what if we have those people at our house and they see that we returned it?

what to do???????

Well, it's a one-cup coffee machine... you wouldn't normally keep that at home and break it out for company anyway. So I wouldn't let your fear of them noticing the missing gift stop you from making use of the money spent on it.

also if something is returned on your registry it doesnt show up as returned it still says it was bought off.

we returned a bunch of things we origionally thought we wanted i wouldnt worry about it

You don't need a receipt at some places, like wal-mart or BBB. You'll just get store credit (which is totally fine).

Honestly, remind your FH that when you give a gift, your concern is that the receiver enjoys it, even if that means returning it and trading it for something that works better with their life.

I'm debating returning a set of sheets we got for our wedding. I didn't realize we really, really don't need 3 sets of sheets.
