What to do with the extra money after selling?
This is the first time my mother and I are selling a home and are unsure of where to hold the money until we are ready to buy again (we are moving to NC hopefully by Aug/Sept 05 and moving into an apartment until we find a house we all love).
Our RE agent says to put it in ING but it's not a fund where you can take money out when needed... and my mother wants to have access to the funds even if it is quarterly.
Can anyone suggest a fund/company/etc that we can put the money in? We are definately open to something shortterm, one long term and even a third if it works out better.
