What to get FH for christmas... I got him a few little things already...like a mets calendar, Guinness Beer Mugs, Cologne, but I want to get him a nice BIG gift.. one thing that stands out as the nicest... I have 2 ideas...
1. a really nice watch..... I bought him a nice one on our first Christmas.. but he's already had to replace the battery this year....and it's acting funny lately.. so I could replace that...
2. A trip to the Poconos.. I know.. totally different things... but we are thinking of going away March 20-22 of 2008 as a 'ITS A ONE YEAR TIL OUR WEDDING CELEBRATION' and I was thinking the poconos.. and was thinking maybe I will surprise him with planning the trip... so I started to look into some Poconos prices.. 2 nights will definitely be pretty expensive if we want to stay at Cove Haven, which is the romantic resort there.....
Hmmmmmmmmmmm I don't know what to do... stick to the WATCH because it's like a typical Christmas gift.. you know a nice expensive one that he will like.. OR GO ALL OUT.. and do the Poconos vaca 2 nights away ...
AHHHH what to do what to do.. HELP

personally, i know how my FH is and hed rather have a ton on little things than 1 big thing... hes like a lil kid on xmas... he wants to open 10- million gifts!
i would stick with the watch..... trips should be something romantic that he comes up with and surprises u with! hehe JMO

cove haven is SO Expensive its so not worth it, its better to spend it somewhere else cuase there is so much things to do up there!

Personally, I would try to take FH away...maybe you can go somewhere a little cheaper?
That would be so nice, and something to look foward to after Christmas!

We're like that too. The more boxes to unwrap the better! The first year we started dating I made him this Yankees stocking that's as tall as me ( 5'3). I thought it was so cute and had such a good time filling it up. Stupid me though... now I have to fill it up every year. That's about $100 minimum just on a stocking!

I say the watch! Me and FH love having stuff to open. We write christmas lists filled with what we want and we buy as much stuff as we can off it. We have been doing this since we first got together. Its great having a lot of stuff under the tree. It makes me feel like a kid again!

yea im leaning toward the watch.....because im assuming that we are going to GO AWAY that weekend anyway.. we already said we wanted to.. so we can plan it together and split the cost as a gift to each other.. i think im going to start looking on overstock.com for the watch.... my friend just got an amazing deal on there for a great WATCH

your choices are the watch or the trip? hmmm its tough sine they are totally diff....but since he has a watch i would say do the trip
