what to have BM wear as far as Jewelery

My BM dresses are slate blue.. with the help of all of you.. I am asking them to wear silver shoes of thier choice....

now, what about jewelery.. I was thinking a pearl theme..... too prim and proper???? I'm not sure....??? :

My BMs all wore pearl necklaces and earrings (which I gave them as part of their presents). I think it looked really nice. It also avoided the problem of gem necklaces where the necklace shifts, so someone's necklace is askew in pictures.

NADRI makes nice crystal jewelry. It will pick up the color of the dress and they could wear the jewelry again. That is what I got, necklace and earrings from Lord & Taylor.

Are you going to buy the jewelry yourself? I think pearls would go well with your dress color. But if you want them to wear a specific necklace, I'd suggest you get them yourself.

I told my girls, no pearls, because I plan on wearing them. I'm letting them pick their own jewelry because some don't have pierced ears. Some like gold, others silver. That's just me though.

I would have them wear the pearls.

But, I never thought about the necklaces shifting so now I have to rethink my BM necklace choice. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks everyone!!! I will post a picture of the dress as soon as I figure out how to do it at work here.... it's a bill levkoff.. I think #996.... but I'll work on that........pearls it is... now I just have to figure out what I am wearing.... and yes, I will purchase them.. I have 5 bridesmaids.. ahhhhhhhhhhh

I'm not a pearl girl .. what i'm doing is buying their jewelry as part of their present. I'm going to get similar necklaces to match the dress - either same color or silver depending on what I can find.
