I don't think you need that many pairs of jeans. The only thing we've ever done in Hawaii that required jeans was horseback riding. Also, it's a very long flight, you might want to travel in sweatpants or capris instead.
I also took a windbreaker and a long sleeve t with me. We went up to Haleakala on Maui and it's COLD up there so if you're going even in the middle of the day, dress in layers.
A hat is a definite must.
Most places are 'resort casual' for dinner. Pack sundresses, shorts and a pair or two of capris and you'll be fine.
Also, we were there for 23 days so we ended up doing laundry (it was free at the resort) - not the most romantic way to spend a couple of hours on our HM, but it's definitely an option.

From my experience during our hawaii hm, we mainly wore bathing suits and cover ups. Like DH, wore bathing suit and a tshirt and I wear my bikini and a little cover up. All the activities we did always required a bathing suit. And even in the evening hours or to dinner, nothing is super fancy (even at the 5star restaurants). We packed DH's jacket and nice pants, he never needed it. He always wore light weight pants (i guess like a chino) and a short sleeve button down. And I always had a sundress. You definitely don't need much, I say bathing suits, coverups and something to wear at night.
my fh is concerned about his underwear lol. Wants to make sure he brings enough I guess. But I think I am going to bombard my TA with questions for the hotels and let her find out for me. I also wanted to get a zagets so we can figure out where to eat...
