What did you put in there so far? I always put a gift certificate to Best Buy and other little things that I know he can play with But this year I am going to do the gift certificate to best buy, one to a place to get his car washed (he just got a car), cologne, and I think a Norelco razor. Not sure yet. But usually I put practical things too, like razors and such. He always appreciates that because it means he doesn't have to remember to buy those things for a few weeks

Jack Black shaving cream Jack Black post shave gel subscription to Time Out NY Light up pens- he loves them! stupid odds & ends that I got @ the container store.

This is what I am putting in his stocking: Aftershave Shaving gel/lotion chapstick 2 belts (because how do you wrap a belt?) Some Ferrar (sp) Rocher chocolate Maybe some new undies if I can fit them in
I'm not going crazy with stuff this year for him. I got him tix to a concert we already saw, a digital camera that was on sale and a flip phone also on sale.

DH is very hard to shop for:
scratch off lotto tix candy disposable camera (he travels often and NEVER takes any pics!) a few small personal joke-type gifts
another good idea is a pre-paid phone card - I got this for my BIL since his parents live in Eastern Europe.....
