What to see or do in Vegas?

Massages at the spa at Paris ... the best I've had!!

We didn't do any shows ... we're just not into that so pretty much all we did was gamble and check out all the different casinos.

FH and I just got back from Vegas. Unfortunately we were there on business so we didn't get to see too much.

Some things to do:

There are free shows at a lot of the hotels.

1. Mirage - Volcano eruption outside the hotel. Starts in the evening and runs ever half hour.
2. Bellagio - Dancing fountains, it's a beautiful water show choreographed to music. Much nicer at night b/c of the lights in the water.
3. Treasure Island - They have a show with a pirate ship. (it was raining so FH and I didn't get to see it.
4. Circus Circus - They have acrobat shows in the casino. (it's on the far end of the strip so we didn't get there.)

If you're into partying, fi and I went to clubs and lounges, we had a blast. We didn't see any shws, but only because they were all sold out while we were there. Definitely go see the original artwork in the Bellagio - beautiful!

Have fun - Vegas is my favorite place on earth!

We really enjoyed the Siegfried and Roy Secret Garden Secret Garden

for shows Blue Man Group is there also if you haven't seen them yet. I don't think it is too expensive.

There's also all kinds of impersonator shows..the one I went to was in Stratosphere..omg..you have to go on the ride there too!! It's crazy.

New York New York..has a roller coaster ride that's ok..

We also prebooked a Cirque de Sole show..it was def. worth going to..

Me and Don went for our 1 year anniversary and we saw Rita Rudner at New York. She is really funny, makes alot of marriage jokes.

Ive heard really good things about the show 'O' in Bellagio

Also, they say the Grand Canyon tour is amazing but that can be pricey.

if you are into clubing
check out Rain at the Palms hotel.

We had to wait 2 hrs to get in but well worth it once we got inside.. (if you stay at the palms, i believe u get in right away)

There are plenty of free things to do and see...

We only paid for the Sigfried and Roy show---which (though I'm sad about the accident) actually wouldn't have reccomended.

Oh and we went to see a Medival Times dinner theatre type of show at the Excalibur.

Just walking around taking it all in is a large part of the experience.

And the RIO has a Mardi Gras show and an international buffet...well, they all have buffets.

LOVE VEGAS! I want to move there could be because my Best Friend lives there though. ANYWAY! Where are u staying? Goto freemont street one night. Goto the Stratosphere if u like thrill rides go on the big shot. goto the top of the eifel tower at paris. I like the rio I think thats a cool. Check out the Venetian go on a gondola ride. We saw Penn and Teller the last time we where their show was ok but not what we expected.

I just got back from Vegas. We saw O and Zumanity. O was absolutely amazing! I think our tickets were $125. Zumanity was less, but not by much. There's the pirate show in front of Treasure Island (it's free), the dancing fountains in front of the Bellagio, some other show inside the mall at Caesars Palace (near Cheesecake Factory). You'll definitely be doing a lot of walking. How long are you going for? Is this your first time?

Should have read all the way through! Do the Bellagio fountains at night. Definitely go see O and make sure you buy your tickets before you get there because it sells out fast!

Never stayed at MGM Usually stay at Harrahs or the Rio (owned by the same people) Here is a hint Harrahs has a bus that runs back and forth to the Rio for free. The shuttle stops running at 1 am. The palms and some other casino's are by the rio (off the strip).

They also just opened the the monoraill you can get a 10 ride for 20.00 a 1 day pass good for unlimited rides in a 24 hour period for 10.00 or a 3 day ride which is 25.00. All the places mentioned besides freemont street The Rio and the palms can be accessed through the Monorail. If you aren't renting a car.
