What does the bride wear after the reception is over and guests take the party to a bar? I will prob want to stay in my dress all night, but that's silly, right??

my friend went to the bar in the marriot by nassau coliesum in her dress...this guy was there harassing the newlyweds asking 'how come u arent upstairs...**beeping**'
BUT BY THE END OF THE NIGHT HE GAVE THEM 100 BUCKS and said congrats..........
but she stayed in her gown the whole time..i dunno what i am gunna do

for the price of the gown not only am i going to wear it all night..... but it will be worn after the big day too.... i bet the hubby will love that!

i kept mine on until i could no longer stand being in the corset then i put on jeans and a shirt, kept the tiara on and went back downstairs to continue the party!

If we were going to hang out at the bar in the hotel where the guests were staying then maybe,,but to a random bar????? I wouldnt feel comfortable hanging out at a bar in my wedding gown.....JMO

Iplan to continue to wear my dress but one of my friends that just got married changed because she said the dress was just so heavy. So just in case, I'll have a back up outfit.

By the time the after party started, I wanted to change. I was in my dress for 10+ hours by that point, and I just wanted to get it off. And I LOVE my dress. I've already worn it again

if i'm still comfortable and they decided to say go to the bar at fox hollow inn(do they even have one?) then i'll probably stay in it. if not then i will put on my hoodie set that will say just married and leave my tiara and veil on :)

my cousin bought a simple white suit...that's what she wore. she actually changed into her suit, and then said goodbye to the guests at the reception, then left for the after party.
it was a button down jacket and pant set.

We were out at a bar one night and in walked a bride and groom in their attire! I think it's cool!
We hung out at the hotel bar where we stayed....I changed into a comfy jogging outfit and kept my tiara in!

i'm staying in my dress as long as i can! my wedding is over at 6, so we're hanging at the bar at the hotel after. i don't want to change!! and if people think it's weird, then they don't have to look at me!

I was thinking of changing into one of those destination bridal dresses!! The ones that kind of look like a long slip or evening dress!! That is, of course if FH is willing to hang out after the reception!!

I probably wouldn't wear my gown because I'd be paranoid that someone will spill something on it and that people would be stepping on it and so forth. I'd probably end up smacking someone if they got something on my gown...including my FI . I would try to get a cute white outfit or something that screams...I'M MARRIED..

You've worn your dress again! I think that's so funny! I have one friend who didn't want to take her dress off because she knew she'd never get to wear it again but who says you can't!
