Same thing you would wear to a Friday or Saturday night wedding. I am having a Sunday night wedding and it will be just as formal as a Friday or Saturday night would be.

i would not wear what you would wear to a Saturday night wedding...
i would wear a long dress ...not casual buut not too fancy

The wedding is at Cheateu Le Mer (sp?)

My cousins' wedding was on a Sunday night, but I was a bridesmaid, so I had nothing to worry about.

I think it depends on the wedding- not the day of the week . . . as you can see the Sunday Brides, including myself expect our weddings to be treated as formally as any other day would be. IMO to say that one would not wear the same to a Sunday as they would to a Friday or a Saturday really is wrong. It is TIME of day not which day. Would someone wear something different to a Saturday afternoon as opposed to a Sunday afternoon? I hate to be overly sensitive about this, but I plan on my SUNDAY evening wedding to be as formal if not more than any Friday or Saturday Evening wedding I have been to, and I feel it is an unfair judgement to make. There are MANY factors that go into chosing a Sunday wedding, and FORMALITY is NOT one of them. JMO

JMO...sorry, i did not mean to offend you or anyone else... just speaking from experience (the weddings i have been to)
it also depends on the place but that is my personal opinion.. i answered her question to what i would do
JMO---generally a Saturday night is the most formal (most expensive) unless stated on the invite

I am Sunday night at Chateau La Mer by the way, and as some of the other Sunday brides be, I expect people to dress as they would for any other evening wedding.

This is NOT an argument!!! I apologized right off the bat for being sensitive!!! I apologize AGAIN! I have personally taken some slack about a Sunday night wedding, and I was really just trying to say that for me the MAIN reason I chose a Sunday was for minimum guarantee issues. I couldn't meet the minimums for Friday or Saturday since we both have very small families. We still want our wedding to be formal. I just get so tired of people making assumptions about weddings based on day of week. No hard feelings- again, I am sorry if I came off argumentative- that was not my intention!!!

I agree with the above. An evening wedding calls for evening dress.

I had a sunday night wedding- I was a little upset when people thought they could come casual just because it was sunday night! Heck no- dress to the nines if you feel like it!
