What to wear to Engagement Shoot?

My FH and I are going to be taking our engagement pictures at the beach next week......any suggestions on what I should wear? Any specific colors you would recommend to wear or stay away from??

TIA

i wore jeans rollled up and a white cable knit sweater - my FH wore khaki shorts and a blue polo - very casual ! we figured it was at the beach so we tried to look beachy

i went through this whole long ordeal about what we should wear and we ended up wearing blue jeans and white tops. i got a sneak peek from my photog's digital camera and they looked like they came out amazing! in the end, i agreed that these are more informal, just for fun pics and that's how i wanted my outfit to portray it - fun!

We had our engagement pic shoot last night and I wore jeans and a breezy pink top, FH wore jeans, white tee, and cream colored casual blazer. I can't wait for them to come back!

I just took mine yesterday. FH wore a blue button down and jeans...I wore a white cap sleeve scoop neck baby doll shirt and jeans!

Since youre taking them on a beach i think a white linen dress would look so cute! Just stay away from crazy patterns and stick to solid colors is what the photographers say.

I don't believe staying away from patterns. We didn't and they came out great (pics in album). I saw since it's the beach maybe turquoise or coral color top or bottom. Something fun. I think the more things that the camera has to look at the better... ie patterns, colors, background. jmo
