what to wear to RD?

My RD will be at a nice Italian restaurant - I'm planning to wear a sleeveless black dress with flowers (casual fabric) with black shawl - is that too dressy?

I didn't think so, but I'm now having second thoughts.

I think that sounds fine. I know what you mean about questioning your dress. I question myself all the time about a lot of things we picked out. Must be a bride thing.

I have to go to a RD in 2 weeks, I am a BM should I get dressed up? or Is nice pants/boots/sweater OK

My BMs are wearing nice, more casual clothes - sweaters and pants, which I think is fine. Being the bride, we should get dressed up, but a few people had me starting to second guess myself!

I dressed up for mine in June - skirt, nice top, high heels. My bridesmaids wore pants, skirts.

I think you are fine! I don't think that is too dresssy at all. I am actually looking for a simple dress to wear to mine as well rather than a skirt or pants outfit.

You are the bride...I think there is nothing wrong with being a little more dressed than the bridal party.

You'll look great!

i was a bm in my bf wedding and i wore black dress pants (the old faithful!!) & a nice shirt--she wore a really cute dress!

ugh - my mom just asked me yet again if I'm wearing a dress to the RD - um, it's tomorrow, I can't change my mind now! LOL

Why do moms always feel the need to 'add their 2 cents'???!!!

Now I feel overdressed for tomorrow
