Can you ladies please help settle an argument between me and FH?
We have my cousins rehearsal dinner tomorrow and he's trying to tell me that it's ok to wear jeans and a polo shirt.
Am I wrong in thinking jeans are inappropriate?

Jeans to a wedding??? Yes i would say that is inappropiate. Does he mean to the church for the ceremony? Or to the actual reception?? Where is it being held?

sorry to rehearsal dinner. it's a bbq dinner at the same place that the wedding is at. i think it's outdoors.

Oh ok, well that's a little different. But I'm still with you, I would say like a pair of kakis if he doesn't want to wear dress pants. If it was in like a backyard I would understand jeans maybe. But not if it's at the same place as the wedding.

for a rehersal dinner BBQ, I think jeans and a polo shirt are just fine.

I would say khaki's just to be safe! I would always rather be a little over-dressed than under-dressed (out of respect to the hosts)!

i think it depends on where it is....
Jeans and a button down with dress shoes could be ok...
