What to wear when going dress shopping!!!????

What is the best attire when going dress shopping. Easy access to get off! lol.

I have to go this SAT for the dress shopping. I was thinking jeans and a long sleeve shirt, but someone mentioned I should wear sweats?

Also bra and undies, do you wear thong, or boyshorts, etc.

i wore jeans stilettos (as high as my wedding shoes) and a nice top...

ur bra comes off lol so who cares i wore a matchin thong. i didn't care that the lady was in there with me she kept tellin me she loved my a$$ bahahahaha

im going sunday and ill be comfy ... sweats, tee, strapless bra and boyshorts

i just went dress shopping for the first time on monday. girls told me to wear boy shorts and a strapless bra. unfortunately, i can't find my strapless bra, so I obviously wore my regular bra and they gave me a strapless there. i also wore my regular underwear, jeans and a t-shirt and everything was fine.

so it's really what you feel comfortable with. you will be standing in front of this strange woman in just a bra and underwear, so it's how you feel!

IMHO, it doesn't matter what you wear b/c it's all coming off! Wear a strapless bra and some spanx if you need them. Wear regular underwear b/c the attendant will be in there with you while you change.

Ok cool. Yeah I would want to be comfy your right.

Now the shoes that SoVi08 mentioned, did you girls also wear the shoes you would be wearing for the day of? I have not even thought of that.

The clothes themselves don't matter much, just taking them on and off, but I would wear underwear you don't mind being seen since they will dress you...so probably not a thong. I wore boyshorts and it was perfect. Also, they will give you a long-line bra to wear if you need, but I wore my own strapless and it was much better in my opinion, since I don't want to wear a long-line on my wedding day...HTH!

Edit--you don't really need your shoes that first time, but if you want to get an idea you could wear them!

Thanks ladies. Yeah i pro will want a long bra for the day off but i have not bought that yet because i do not know what style dress i will be getting.

BUt yeah def no thong hehehehe. I have a nice bottom but for me and FH eyes only ehheehhee

No they didn't and they didnt' give me a bra BUT I did get there around 3 and they closed at 4 and they were dealing with a bride who was causing a lot of problems. So I am giving them the benefit of the doubt!

i wore a skirt i can slip on and off and my strapless bra with a tank and flip flops (this was in august!)

I wore boyshort underwear because i know myself and i as predicted i was walking out of the dressing room in my underwear to ask questions or looking for another dress

I def will invest in a long bra but i have to see what type of dress i want first.

a few years ago i used to model wedding gowns (weird right?) and I had invested in buying a strapless backless bra from Victorias Secret. It is amaazing. It straps around your lower back and comes up your stomach. not only does it flatten the stomach but its a great bra!!!!
