what to write in a thank you card - weird scenario
ok so one of the bridesmaids didn't give us a gift has been very scatterbrain as of late - she forgot to pay me for the bm dress until 1 week before the wedding. DH seems to think is like borderline hoarder/memory problem knd of thing. Now this person has helped with shower, bachelorette party, given bridal shower gift etc. I honestly think she forgot but I know she would be very embarressed to realize that she never gave us a gift. I'm finishing up my thank you cards but I have no idea what to write in her card, its kind of awkward. I wouldn't send one but would feel weird not sending one, know what I mean???

I would thank her for being a part of your day and all of her help along the way with everything she did... maybe if you make it specifically about the things she DID do she'll realize something she forgot to do...

i agree with the girls, but i don't think it's going to remind her of the forgotten gift. if she really forgot to give a wedding gift she's not going to notice an absence of a specific thank you. i do think that thanking her for the things she did do is a very nice thing to do.
can you get a mutual friend to casually ask what she got you?
