What type of food will people enjoy most at the meet and greet?
We are getting most of our food from costco, but we wanted to have hot food there too. What food should we have at the meet and greet. Keep in mind Danny is from Trinidad and my side is Italian. His family does like italian though. Is there another suggestion you have??????? We are trying to get the food catered by a place in close proximity to the garden city hampton inn. So we found this place called LL Dent that could do the southern food and we all know howmany Italian rest long island has!

i don't think you can ever go wrong with italian- it seems to be the safest, most liked choice at parties
it might be nice to have a few trinidadian dishes though to make FH's family feel welcome

Southern food is fun, and there tends to be things that everyone likes! This way, its 'different' from what your side, and FH's side would expect

that's tough but I don't think you can go wrong with either. If I HAD to choose, I would pick Italian because it seems like everybody likes it

If you do go with LL Dent, be sure to order Toby's Georgia Hash. It's a spicy thick soup and so freakin' good! You won't regret it!

FHs sister just said that she picks southern because it is not like any of the food we will be having at the wedding. This is very true and she added it is more casual. The wedding will be having some trini touches, so his side can enjoy the food as well.
