So I finally decided that I am going to have tips put on my nails. I'm too nervous about a regular french chipping. Now the question is...do I put on regular acrylic? or silk wraps?? I've never had silk before, so I am wondering if it is worth spending the extra money on them or if I shoudl just stick with the acrylic. TIA!
PS: Silk wraps are like 60 bucks for a set at my salon and Acrylic is like 30.

I would also recommend getting UV gel's, specifically they are called Luxe Gels. There is no powder involved, it is literally a thin layer of gel over your natural nail. It looks really natural, lasts longer, and is healthier for your nail. It is probably around the same cost as silk wraps.
