What type of things go in an OOT bag?

the short answer: whatever you want

what did i put in mine:
(assuming each bag is for a couple)
*2 bottles of water
*2 small bags of goldfish crackers
*2 mini bags of m&ms
*tic-tacs
*2 individual packs of alkasetlzer
*2 individual packs of painkillers
*map
*itinerary
*list of restaurants in the area
*2 cranberry scones
*2 small bags of yogurt covered blueberries
*thank you note
*invitation to morning-after-breakfast

i included a note explaining some of the items.

you want to personalize the bag: ie. the m&ms, the scones, and the blueberries all had a connection to our wedding location.

for expample: if there is a local/cultural item that will make it fun.... ny wedding: mini bagle and cream cheese. ny wedding: apple muffin (the big apple), so forth and so on.

just wanted to add:

there is a website that has state-specific and official state foods that you could incorporate into your OOT Bags

toothbrush and/or toothpaste
aspirin

deoderant..toothpaste/brushes...candies...water...snacks...for my sisters we added personalized m&ms with their wedding date and names....we put them in baskets instead of bags and it was last november so we added xmas ornaments with thier names on them too so you can make them look seasonal...

it really is whatever you want to put in them make them somewhat personalized to you and your wedding theme...

have fun with it...
