What was...

that site where you could get flowers discounted> I was thinking about doing my own cp's?

The thing I question about having flower DIY Cp's do you do them the night before so the RH can put them on the tables or will the RH pt the flowers in the day of so they don't look like they've been sitting?

I don't know the answer to your question but flowers weren't something I wanted to spend alot of money on so I am using a local florist. The price was great and I even bought my own vases and dropped them off there to save money... Just a suggestion.

Another money saver:

FH and I plan to buy nice potted plants and use those as centerpieces in lieu of traditional floral centerpieces. We're gonna buy some pots, spray paint them in our colors/monogram and re-pot the plants. Then after the wedding, guests can take them home to replant in their yards or we can donate them somewhere, or we can take some to replant in OUR yard so we always have something from our wedding

Cost-effective and no spending money on flowers that will die!

Definitely check out a local florist. It's what we are doing and we are spending 1/3 of the prices that a big wedding flower vendor quoted us for the exact same thing.

The only site I can think of off the top of my head is www.fiftyflowers.com
