What was FH like when he was a child?

What stories have you heard from FMIL, or other family members, about when he was a child? Mary MOB

that he was actually a really good kid, quiet and sweet. FBIL was the opposite hahahaha. Fh was really into sports so mostly played little league, pee wee football and all those other things. He was obsessed with GI joe. He would also come home before dark and didnt like staying out late. Oh and he was bad at braking with his bike so he would just throw himself off to stop. One of my bm's grew up across the street from him and they both still live across the street and she always says that about him too and how funny it was. She'd wave hi and there he'd go always falling off lol. Everybody says what an angel he was. I hope our kids will be like that lol

theres an LIW bride on right now who knows FH since they were babies so she knows even better lol

He had white blonde hair, big buggy blue eyes and was a terror!!!!!!!!! Adorable and sweet but just a terror. A complete Dennis the Menace!!! A good kid and meant no harm!!!

The only story I really know is...
One Christmas FH & FBIL were bugging their mom for a present like weeks before. She said no, no, no. So on Christmas eve...she came home from work and finally decided to give them a present. It was a box of COAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FH has never forgotten that and now shakes every present before he opens it!!!

oh people bring it up alot so im sure our kids will heart about it alot

he also had light hair and dark eyes. At around 19 his eyes got light and his hair is dark, but he has the blonde patch on the back of his head, hes always had it. He says he was touched by the hand of god

he tells me he was reallllly bad lol. he used to get in trouble all the time and this was straight up to high school. he was and always will be a smartas s lol he was also the class clown and was known by all his teachers for his antics.

you never know it might be the other way around. Its funny bc they'll all say how bad FBIL was and i always say watch we'll end up with a kid like FBIL, and FBIL will have a good kid like FH .

My grandmother always said how bad my mom was and when i was a kid i was real good too. Teenage years is a whole other story though lol. And yeah Fh was a great kid but then once 18 hit or about 19 is when he probably first started causing headaches.

Well Mary...that's still up for debate!!!!!!!!!
He is either a very dirty blonde or a light brown. Problem is when he looks at himself he still sees the white blonde hair!!!

Class Clowns run in my family!! I'm especially concerned about Grandson!! He's 11 and already being labeled, 'Class Clown'!!!! Mary MOB

He always cried when there was a fire drill, that scared him alot. I think the funniest thing is that he told me he started crying when he started learning about long vowels because they confused him that they were different than short vowels, lol. He also thought it was cool to tell everyone his name was 'Dano', that's why I call him that now... lol.

ETA: He was very much into sports, played baseball, soccer, wrestling, and i'm sure i'm forgetting some... I always tell him that he better hope his sons get his athletic ability because if they get mine, good luck! I was the girl who would do anything to avoid playing in gym!

lol i just find it so funny that a little kid would be upset about something like that!

I hope our kids know better and aren't upset about scary vowels!

Ladies you have some wonderful memories!! May I encourage you to write them down, in these early years? It gets harder to remember when you get older! As I hear precious stories, from my almost 80 yr. old Mother, I'm recording them. It seems the older she gets, the more past memories she tells me, that I've never heard before!! Mary MOB

i believe it bc reading your post sounded like my fh as a kid. He was shy and did get upset about little things

i definitely will. Plus FMIL was into saving things so she said she will give me all these things for FH. She has so many pics, and memories
