Your bacholerette party or your bridal shower. If you had a BM who could only fly in for one, what would you prefer she fly in for?

I would prefer the bach party just because at the bridal shower I had friends fly in and I hardly got to spend any quality time with them.

You can get more quality time at a bachelorette party--unless you get too drunk to remember anything at all.

My bridal shower. That meant more to me than my b-party, which was nothing much.

Why not both? For mine we made a weekend out of it. All of my BM were from OOT. So, they came in Friday night (some Sat morning) and my shower was at 12:30 Saturday. Then my bachelorette party was Saturday night. On Sunday we all recovered and most went home that afternoon. One left Monday morning. We also did this for my best friend's shower and b-party. But for that one we made the mistake of putting the shower the morning AFTER the B-party. Not the best idea.

Bachelorette party... I had a friend fly in for that and not the shower. She actually chose to bach over the shower and i'm so glad she did! We had a blast!!

This is my reasoning for having her there for the bachelorette party opposed to the bridal shower.

totally would want them to fly in for the bach. party more than the shower. at the shower you dont' get a chance to really sit there and talk with them, cause you are playing hostess
bach party--its more intimate and you can drink and have fun with your BM than at the shower.

if its a choice between the 2-- the shower...
my MOH couldnt be at my shower-- she lives in apris- but she was able to come out the night before the wedding and we did a mini-bach party.
