What was the favor at your shower?

Trying to decide on something and need ideas! TIA!

I didn't have a shower...but, my friend was the MOH for her sister in law. She printed custom labels to put on jar candles. It was really cute.

I went to a shower a few months ago and we all got a plant. It was pretty because the plants were all over the restaurant that the shower was at so it made the restaurant pretty.

My sister and friend got ice cream scoops and put hershey kisses in the scoop & wrapped the scoop with tule.

we had a tea party - so they were tea cups and saucers and planted in the tea cups were little flowers...

My mom and sister planned the bridal shower and chose heart shaped wine stoppers. Everyone loved them

my mom did a tea theme favor-tea cups and saucer white with ivy, and my sister had tea bags personalized....pics are in my bridal shower album....the back of the tea bags said 'he loves me. he loves me not. he loves me! so we are tying the knot!'

I just had my shower on Saturday and m\y mom and grandma picked out wine stoppers as well!

A heart shaped mirroe compact.. I love when I'm with people and I see it in their pocketbook! My sister picked it out because it's a running joke how I'm always asking if there's anything in my teeth

I haven't had mine yet, but i live the flower seed idea. It is a bunch of flower seeds in a cute tin that you can plant. I think they have a cute poem on them too.

I haven't had mine yet but here are some favors I have received or heard of:

garlic holder - I have to tell you I made fun of this one before I received it but I have seen it used in every single house of the women that attended!
coffee scoop
ice cream scoop
kitchen utensil
espresso set
picture frame

straightforward and simple - godiva chocolates!

my friends who planned the shower put them in cute little boxes that matched the theme.

my fmil also brought little white scented candles in little boxes, but a lot more people were interested in the candy than the candles - we had a ton left.

the first is the candy favor, the second is the candle. The theme was 'Sara's Ark' (like Noah's Ark) because fh and I have a LOT of pets, and they wanted to do something a little different from the usual shower theme - they had a ton of adorable decorations (which apparently were originally meant as baby shower decorations, but they very intelligently hid anything baby-related long before anybody else arrived).

They were simple and cute - I don't think it has to be anything fancy!

Mine were shower gels, body lotions and bubble bath from bath & body works. My MOH made a cute favor tag and saying to go on them.

My mom's friend made them, combining my two favorite things: chocolate and chocolate, lol! She made 65 dark chocolate boxes and filled them with M&M's! She wrapped them all and made extra large versions for me and my BM's. Yummy! I can just imagine her, chocolate streaked on her face, buried in meltng chocolate, M&M's, cellophane and ribbons!
