Your flower girl dress? I am having the FG dress made and I thought the price I that I was quoted seemed kind of high. I wanted to know what the price of FG dresses are on average.

I'm actually considering a FG dress from David's Bridal. It was between $99 and $119 depending on what sizes we needed to order.

Wow okay, then the quote I received ($100) wasn't that far off from the average price then . . . I really wasn't expecting a flower girl dress to be that much since they are tiny little ones.

I got my fg dress in a shop in kids sayville and it was only around $50 or $60 I think. Sorry I ordered it a while ago so I can't remember the exact price.

custom made dresses usually run higher than what you see in the stores... since its original..
so your $100 quote is a bargain!

My seamstress is making a custom dress for my FG for $70. Everywhere else it would be $100-175 for what I wanted.
There are places to get them cheaper (a couple of Ebay sellers sell nice ones) and also shopBriarPatch. But I couldn't find what I wanted there, so I'm having it made.

I have 3 flower girls. I went with my FSIL to the flea market and we found the cutest dresses for 55.00 each!
My seamstress is making a custom dress for my FG for $70. Everywhere else it would be $100-175 for what I wanted.
There are places to get them cheaper (a couple of Ebay sellers sell nice ones) and also shopBriarPatch. But I couldn't find what I wanted there, so I'm having it made.
This is what I was expecting the price to be . . . around $75 at the most.

My flower girl dress was originally $159 but I received 15% off b/c we brought it from Macy's Bridal Salon adn that is where I am getting my dress from. The end total was about $140.

Was also going to look at David's Bridal as well for FG and BM/MoH dresses since they are reasonably priced imo

I know, I thought the same thing about FG dresses and JrBm dresses. My Jr BM's dress was $147!!!! It was only 20 dollars cheaper than my BM's dresses!!
This is the FG dress that I'm thinking about using...can't post the pic!!

This is the same exact thing for me my FG dress is only $20 less than my BM dresses too I just don't understand it when the BMs are like 4x her size!!! I think its a case of the 'wedding surcharge'

My mom picked out a dress w/ tiara and veil for $200!!!! I was like my niece is not wearing that and how dare you spend that type of money on a child. She didn't realized that things added up.
Needless to say we are getting a $50 dress with a knockoff tiara and no veil.

Hey Date twin!! It's definitely the wedding surcharge! Besides David's I really couldn't find FG dresses for under $175...at least at bridal salons!!
