What was the worst/funniest thing that your FI helped you register for?
I'll start....I have a few, but I would have to say a robe in Bed Bath and Beyond. I argued with him in the middle of the store about it and just gave up. I didn't think anyone would buy it.
The worst is that someone bought it! How do I explain that!

actually the Magic Bullet isn't that bad compared to the gadgets my FI was trying to put on there.

He was in charge of the scanner gun thingy so when I was looking at towels he scanned a shiatzu massage mat for a chair! It's over $100!!! And I bet someone buys it for me!! I'll kill him!

It would have to be the $2,000 coffee/cappucino/expresso machine at Crate & Barrell. When we got home and looked at our registry, I removed it.

Hahah..we did, too. I need one. LOL. We also registered for 2 folding tables and folding chairs and the folding chairs are hideous, but hey, they're functional and we'll need them for parties.

FH wanted a dip bowl that looked like a football from Bed Bath and Beyond. It was on the clearance rack and I refused to put it on. He was not happy with me!

FH registered for lobster cracker...even though he doesn't eat lobster...he thinks its good to have one just in case a cook a lobster...crazy FH

Against my wishes, FH insisted that we register for a food saver. (the thing that ***** all of the air out of the ziplock sort of bags)

FH really wanted a rice cooker- like really wanted it.
I don't know about you ladies, but the only rice I make is the kind you stick in the microwave for 10 minutes and viola- you have rice.
Well all he wanted was this cooker- and it turns out one of my friends who can't make it to my shower bought it for us and she was wondering why I had registered for it. So I had to spill the beans that it was all Matthew on this one! Now it's a big joke about how when our friends come over they want 8 cups of rice!!

fh wanted to register for 100 packs of condoms at bed bath and beyond. i reassured him that his 80 year old aunts wouldnt be too happy to see that. haha

FH registered us for a $15 stainless steel toothpick dispenser at BB&B! I took it off the registry cause I was afraid one of his crazy family members would buy it instead of something we really need.
I can buy him toothpicks at the dollar store

we registered a few things before our engagement party, and he scanned this GIANT universal remote for the tv/dvd/vcr, yea it's funny for either 1. people who are almost blind or 2. people who constantly lose the remote...but we dont fall into either of those categories...and of course, FH's uncle got it for us

OMG this was terrible he went scan happy...sorry I'm an 09 crasher and all this stuff is great.
FH put on the registry a $6,000 granite bar $1,200 bird candelabra piece of art thing 25 butterly nightlights and 15 personal massagers!
We did have a lot of fun though he just didnt take it as serious as I wanted him to.
