What was you DH's annoying habit that you 'fixed'?
When my DH and I first started dating, he would watch tv while on the phone with me...it drove me nuts! So, whenever I'd hear that tv on, or felt like he wasn't really listening to me, I'd say, 'gotta go'..and click.
Then, I would call his house and immediately he'd say, 'hold on, I have to turn off the tv'

ummm...he's trying to be better with money and budgeting and paying off his c/c. he's better (not awesome, but getting better) about picking up after himself. he sees me cleaning and straightening up and gets the hint but doesn't do it great by himself. he's also trying to be less critical of things.

Here too. I was definitely the saver of the two of us, and he had a great deal of c/c debt when we met. He has been getting better, and is almost entirely paid off of the debt now.

DH was always used to eating in front of the TV. I always hated that. So if we have take out, it's in front of the tv and if I cook, then it's at the table. We compromise...

DH had such a problem with please and thank you, which was weird because he is so polite, but these words were not in his vocabulary, but now they are

after 2 and a half years of marriage, i am happy to report that all my annoying habits are intact
my last girlfriend tried to change me, and that's why she's my 'ex' girlfriend

His diet was so limited. He only would eat potatoes and corn as vegetables and only bananas as fruit. I got him to eat more veggies and fruit (but not berries) and more unusual cuisines. We are still working on it.
As for the guys, so you are fine with all the things your FW and DW do? You wouldn't try to change anything?

I have been thinking about this all morning and finally thought of one...DH would once in a while give me a really hard time about going out without him...so I would stay home to be with him instead, but then he wouldn't talk to me and he would watch hockey or baseball instead He does not do that anymore.
The one thing we have changed about each other is the way in which we fight. We used to say the meanest things to one another when we fought and we no longer do that.

the habit I fixed was getting him to become more patient, he is more patient then me now
