not everything that they gave us were our choices... the tasting was really what they had available...

Since we are having a buffet they had a table set up for us and they brought out platters of 6 different types of foods. We actually made some of our choices based on the foods we ate. They also offered us wine and soda.

ok cool. My girl told me we eat in the restaurant but it's not exactly what our options are. It's to give us an idea of how the food is.

Yes, this happened!!!
Before the tasting we were able to pick out what we wanted to taste.
we could pick 1 app 1 salad and 4 entree's
and we tried
2 apps
1 salad with 3 kinds of dressings
2 flavors of intermezo sorbet
6 entrees
It was great, and we picked out our cake design and flavors.

Hi!
Our caterer is Lessings and they had us go to one of their restaurants for a tasting. The chef cooks a chicken, beef and fish dish. And like my coordinator explained to me it's more about quality and presentation of food.
That being said, our tasting went great! The food was really good, especially considering it's catering. She said we should really only bring up to 6 because there's only three entrees but I ended bringing close to....oh 10 hehe....and there was enough food for everyone to taste! They gave all of us beverages and tasted the house wine. The waitress even gave my nieces and nephews hot dogs (off the menu!).

they gave us the meals that the wedding that was going on was having. they just so happened to be what we wanted tho
