What was your ceremony like???

Just wondering what the details of your ceremony are. I'm just starting to think about mine.

I'd love to hear your songs, order of events, special ceremonies, etc.

Our ceremony was very personal, as our officiant wrote her whole dialogue about the two of us as a couple. We also wrote our own vows. We did the unity candle and the hand ceremony. It was all very beautiful, even though I barely remember any of it!! Can't wait to see it all on video!

Ours was a traditional Catholic full mass. It was very simple, and our priest did a great job on his homily, making it personal, because he took the time to get to know us. Another aspect I liked is that we signed our marriage license as part of the mass, I'd never seen that done before at a wedding mass, and I liked the idea of it.
