Cookie Crisp and Frosted Flakes. I remember wanting Lucky Charms & mom said no on that (but the other 2?!)
shelzy...our rule was no sugar in the first three ingredients....but if dad was buying...this didn't count...lol...alhtough he would only buy food that he owned stock in...

My mom was like Yabbobay's mom. No sugary cereals.
I liked Cheerios, Crispix, Wheat Chex and my all time fave was Grape-Nuts.
juliet...I think my moms real reason was b/c the sugar cereals were too expensive...so this way she could buy 'No Frills' Crispy Rice

We were only allowed sugary cereals on weekends.
My favorite, still to this day, is Count Chocula. Patrick works a second job managing a friend's deli, and for our first anniversary bought me a case of it. Gotta love that man!

Dunken Dounuts made a cereal for about a year- no idea what it tastes like now, but I sure loved it then.
