is a child-free wedding rude?

I have a very large family, and I am thinking about having a 15 yr old cutoff age, that would leave 27 of my first cousins out, I feel bad some of the little girls are so excited about the wedding, I know there are going to be tears when they are not invited. I read the best way to go about it is to not make an exceptions, but I am close to these girls(age 10,9,7) My FI family is coming from Massachusettes, I don't know any of them, so I am not torn with there kids, but what if them come to the wedding and see my little cousins, I think they would be upset. I don't know what to do, I would invite them by adding 27 more people to the head count, even if it is discounted, is still a lot of money. Help

Mine was a fascinating look at inservice credits for teachers.....

This was my first year as a teacher - so I stuck with the district offered inservice classes. My mother goes through Scopre usually though.

Re: Probably a Controversial Subject: Why I won’t see Passion of Christ – especially with a free ticket. (My reply from last night's Free Ticket post)

I'd have to agree with the people saying it's a MOVIE. It's one man's interpretation of a grouping of biblical stories, and then you can get into whether or not the bible is ture for another argument. Even if the Bible is 100% infallible, the passion is a MOVIE and I guarantee you it wasn't intended to educate, but to make $$. Coming out on Ash Wednesday just adds to the ooh factor and it's religious reputation. If people want to use it for education, fine by me..however, you mist remeber that the primary purpose of any hollywood film is to make $$. I don't care how christian and holy the movie makers are, if they didn't think it would make millions, it wouldn't be in the theatres.

Re: I want to become a teacher???
as other's have said - you can do it! my step-mother went back in her mid thirties to get a teaching degree and is so happy that she did. I'm not certain, but i think my friend got her associates at suffolk so that she could teach through kindergarten. bust as was said above, pre-school teachers make significantly less.

Best of luck to you though!

it was on 8/10/04

Mine was pretty boring - it was on 12/23/03 and in response to the question - 'Is everyone done shopping?' (obviously for the holidays) - my response was 'For the most part, yeah, I just have to tie up some loose ends'

Wow - I was a barrel of laughs back then!!

Re: What was your first post on NWR?

seems that it was about my job!! It was back in July of 2003!
'Sorry to vent but I just don't know what to do! I work for a great company and I love everyone I work with...BUT I work under a glass ceiling. The women get paid less, what I do as an employee goes unappreciated and I feel overworked. When I started as a temp, there were 3 people in my dept. Now it's primarily me and one guy who backs me up when he's actually in the office. Since it's the HVAC industry, we are busy in the winter...I went home at least once a week crying because I was so overwhelmed and I won't do it again this winter. I'd love to find a better paying job, but I love my co-workers and it's so close to home. Does anyone know what a customer type service job goes for after 2 years experience? I feel like I'm worth more than they are paying me!! Someone give advice....'
