i reacted the same way...only thing is i forgot to say yes!!! can you imagine??!! After about 5 mintues of me babbling incoherent things, he was like 'ummmm babe,is that a yes?' His reaction to my reaction was what made it great!!!

We were at the Bronx Zoo and I thought it was a horrible joke and started to walk away!! Could you imagine?! Once he took out the ring I realized he was for real and could not stop crying. I got so caught up in the moment that I never even said yes until he asked me again on the car ride home.
damn first reaction... i'm like 'what?????? r u serious?' with a dumbfounded look on my face.. lol
See, for me- it was a little different. Pat and I went together to pick out my ring. We decided on the diamond to the setting and the sidestones. I pretty much designed everything. But anyway, I was under the impression that I was going to get engaged after Christmas. Pat kept saying I can't afford it right now and you are not getting the ring for a very long time. But little did I know he had planned to throw me off. We went to Myrtle Beach in early November and he proposed to me in front of a waterfall and it was funny because I was like 'What? That's my ring?! OH MY GOD!!!!' His parents were able to take a picture of the proposal which I have under my pictures in my profile if you want to see.
