I would try on all the clothes they had just manufactured and tell them what I liked, what I didn't like. They would make the changes and send them out to the stores.

Re: What was your first 'real' job
I'm still at my 1st 'real' job. I work for a medical supply company. I started here working between semesters while I was in college, doing Production, Shipping, and Service. Then after I graduated I came on full-time, since then I've been promoted to Product Manager. Quite far up the corporate ladder considering where I started.

Re: What was your first 'real' job
At 19 after graduating Katharine Gibbs, I got a job as a secretary at Major League Baseball. It was a sweet job with perks like a pass to every major league ballpark, samples of t-shirts, hats, jackets, sneakers, sweet dinner parties w/ old time players & new too and just a really relaxed atmosphere. The office was even set up to look like a ballpark w/ bleachers, baselines, scoreboard, etc.

Re: What was your first 'real' job
Right after college (Boston U), I was the Assistant to the Dean at BU School of Law. It wasn't the best job, but the Dean was really nice and everyone who I worked with was great. I also got to go to a few really fancy parties!
I left that job after only six months, though. It was just too expensive to live in Boston on my tiny salary, so I moved home. Thank God I did that, or I don't know if I would have met FH!

I still don't think I have a real job...being an actor/singer is really like living in a fantasty world. Maybe one of these days I will actually 'grow up'. At least I love what I am doing.

Re: What was your first 'real' job
My first real job was at a medical supply also. I had worked for my father beforehand, and at wal-mart and verizon, but none of those were 9-5ers. My first real job was a medical place in Hauppauge.
