I would have been John Charles, Jr., because my father always wanted his son to be named after him. It took my parents three tries to get a boy.

My parents had no boy name. In fact, my name is 'baby girl' on my original birth certificate! Since I was their 6th born, I guess they were tired of thinking...

BTW, 'Sean' is a beautiful name!!

When my younger brother was born and my dad called his father, the first thing grandpa said was 'Is it a Boy?' followed by 'Did you name him Harold?' (guess what grandpa's name was )

So since I was first, I guess I would have been Harold if I was a boy.

I did get my dad's initials though Erica Wendy (although my mom wanted Wilhelmina after my grandfather - since my sisters middle name is after my grandmothers)

My mom was so confident she was having a girl, they didn't even pick a boys name.

Stuart would have been my name, I am glad I was a girl. Not there is anyhting wrong with the name, I just like my first name better- Susan.

I was the 3rd and I have 2 older brothers, so my parents were sure I was a girl, so the thought of another boys name didn't cross their mind at teh time.

My parents did not have a boy name picked. In fact, I was born SO EARLY, that they hadn't even picked a girl's name yet.
