What was your typical weekend in college like (stolen from LIF)

I had to steal this one...

So spill it.

eta -- Fine, I'll start

Friday afternoons: homework

Friday nights: dinner with the friends; one or two parties; home by sunrise

Saturday afternoon: brunch with friends/long work out; try to remember what I did the night before

Saturday nights: dinner with friends; one or two or three parties, home by sunrise

Sunday afternoon: repeat Saturday only this time try to figure out why I slept in my clothes (shoes on, too)

Sunday evenings: homework

Sleeping late, maybe catching the end of brunch
If not, making a run to the diner (or sometimes we'd do that anyway if the food wasn't up to par)
Possibly hitting the library/computer lab if a paper was due (not that any work was actually getting done)
If I was free I'd take a trip to the mall or hang out with my 'commuter friends' at their house
The evening usually culminated in either going out to eat or ordering in. Faves included pizza (of course), Italian dinners, or sometimes Chinese. Catching a movie was a frequent as well.
We'd usually stay in the dorms to drink

Let's just say DH doesn't know any details about my college years, except Senior year when we were dating and I spent weekends on the phone with him

Thurs night: get stoned
Fri night: get stoned
Sat: night: get stoned
Sun night: get stoned
daytime: sleep

Ok, so it really was not like that EVERY weekend.
Weekends definitely started on Thurs. night for me. Lots of people went home for the weekend, so they got their partying in on Thurs. We always went out Thurs. night, parties, bar on campus, bar off campus, whatever. Friday and Saturday were often more tame than Thursday. I was pretty good about studying during the day on the weekends. I did usually spend at least one night of the weekend hanging out with the 'stone crew' from upstairs. . It was usually just a big group hanging out in the dorm. Sometimes we did Sat. night movies. Oh, and sometimes we did a big dinner out type of thing. I would say that Thurs. night was always the same (biggest party night of the week) but the rest of the weekend varied.

PS. I'm old now. Does anyone say 'stoned' anymore? I feel like it's been replaced with other phrases. But I think Snoop Dogg still says 'stoned.'

Friday night - stayed in with friends, ordered pizza, went to a movie, or something quiet and laid back.

Saturday - slept in late, usually went shopping and then out to dinner and drinks with friends, rented a movie and cuddled inside with DH!

Sunday - Studied as soon as DH left around noon.

my weekends are the same then as they are now...

I didn't go away to college...and apparently, I haven't matured much either!

I was ahead by 12 credits after spending two summers up at SU. So I was able to schedule my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays leaving Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays FREE!

Thursday Nights - Study and stay up late.
Friday nights - Sorority function or bar
Saturday night - Sorority function or bar
Sunday night - Study and Stay up late

i was a slacker

Friday afternoon---get some food (classes were over by 2 p.m. on fridays)

Friday nite--open up the Boone's wine and start drinking

Saturday day--hang out and sleep in

Saturday nite--head to the frat house my best friend was a part of and drink and get high

Sun.--recover from the weekend.

M-Lo's College Years

Thursday - Drunk &
Friday - crawl out of bed, go to class in PJ's, go to bagel place, go home recoup for Friday night Sorority Mixer
Saturday - Prefest at Mixer or Sister Keg, go out and repeat Thursday and Friday
Sunday - Repeat Friday, minus class and a lot more of

Lets see - getting wasted and clubbing til 6AM, sleeping all day, waking up at around 4 pm, and doing it all over again....

It was a whole year before I saw sunlight duirng the weekends!!!
