What were popular gifts from OOT guests?
Our registry is pretty picked out right now due to my extremely generous friends and family and our e-party. FH and I need to add more things to it again because I'll probably have a shower and a lot of his family/friends (OOT) will want to give physical wedding gifts and not cash.
What did OOT guests typically give as wedding gifts? We're trying to decide what (price-wise and type-wise) to add to our registry. Should we try to put a bunch of things in the $150+ range, or keep it smaller like $50-75. We don't want to put a lot of high-priced items if people are looking to give $50 gifts. We don't want to have lots of small items and then run out because people are more generous than we anticipated. We also don't know if people prefer to buy different 'types' of gifts for a shower or a wedding. (ex: not wanting to give towels as a wedding gift) we're having a hard time thinking of what else to add since we dont have a house right now!
Almost all of our china has already been purchased and we have 2 big items still on our registry (an inflatable air mattress and a down comforter).
