All of my friends have these crazy lists of what they look for in a guy...
Does your FH match your lists???
My FH does, but it was really small, it consisted of Mets Fan and likes pulp in their orange juice...you'd be surprised that is not an easy combo to find in people...

Everything but maybe 2 things, and they were minor.
The good greatly outweighs the bad.

I wasn't even looking for a relationship to tell you the truth.
I thought he was cute and was looking to have fun. I didn't think we'd last a month and we are getting ready to celebrate 7 years!!!

Funny, awhile back I had made a list of the 10 things I looked for in a guy. But after meeting FH I can't seem to remember what I did with it!!
I think he matches most of them, all of the major things anyway. There are a few things that weren't on the list, like his smoking, our age difference, his being married once before and having a daughter, and his tattooes (plus he's a Mets fan!). But those things just weren't enough of a reason for me to not be with him. The pros far outweighed the cons and so I continued to date him, and I've never regretted that decision!!

I wanted companionship. Someone who would love being with me and who I'd love being with. Someone who respected me and that I could trust. He told me on our 1st date that he thought relationships are supposed to be easy, and that's what he wanted. No tricks or games, it's so nice finally being in an adult relationship!!

I wasn't looking for anything when I met him. He fit the black hair/blue eyes type that I ALWAYS dated. But then he was funny. And then he was honest. And then he was just everything else that I didn't even think I could find in a man.

The important things are there:
1. I wanted someone very honest and mensch-like. I got that.
2. Wanted someone smart. He is.
3. I said I wanted a guy who is the life of the party. Well, my DH is quiet but he is always the one who organizes the parties behind the scenes. In a weird way, he is the life of the party!!!
4. Said I'd never marry a bald guy. Well, I guess I lied pretty bad!!!
5. I didn't want a big age difference. We are a month apart!

I was one of those girls that always had a big list of requirements. My FH fits all of my requirements and even things that I didn't think were important to me...but are! I am the luckiest girl!!!
