What WILL they think of next...Co-worker excuses for taking off work...

So my co-worker called in this morning and said she was making s'mores with her kids a few nights ago and one of the marshmallows got stuck to the kid's forehead. She thought it would come off in the shower but it hasn't so she is going to the dr. to get the marshmallow removed. Any other good stories?

And I just keep laughing imagining the kid going to school for 3 days with a marshmallow stuck to his forehead! Isn't it child abuse to just let it SIT THERE!? If this did in fact happen at all!?

Someone Mr Boots used to know once called in and his boss freaked all the way out saying if this guy called in sick one more time he was fired... so the guy called in fat. No, really. No. Really.

LOL he couldn't fit in the car? That's too funny. This reminds me though...I was at the Walmart in Islandia (which is as seedy as a watermelon) and there were tons of very obese people who were in the automatic wheelchair things supplied by Walmart...Just zooming around the aisles, not having to walk...I understand it can be difficult to walk when that obese, but the store was FILLED with them! A veritable army of obese automatic wheelchair riders!

How is the kid not in serious pain with a hot as lava marshmallow stuck to his forehead?!
And why would she need to take him to the doctor to remove the marshmallow? Just break out the steel wool or goo gone

We have a book at my job of all the excuses this one co-worker has used. Here are some

He had no clean underwear, YES he did say that to me. He has mold in his throat. He took his moms pills from when she had Lypo and now he feels loopy. Ummm Hello why would you take those?. There was an 1' of snow he said his car would slide and he didnt want to risk it. He had to chop wood. This was last weeks excuse. Ummm I didnt think there was a need for wood now?? These are just a few. Why you ask is this fool still employed here?? Good Question!

We have one that does that up at the Pathmark by us. We only do our shopping 1x every six weeks (at random times/dates) but everytime we're there, SHE is there zooming down the ice cream isles. What's the chance of us being there EVERY time she is? She has to be there everyday. We saw her come into Burger King one night and she was walking herself back and forth to the soda refill station just fine
