What will you do with your nails

manicure - possibly french manicure - not sure yet.

but definitely not tips or wraps.

I might do silk wraps. I think I am going to get a pale pink color though, and not a french manicure.

i am thinking the same thing. i think it looks nice in pictures to have the pale colors - sometimes on a french the white looks too bright to me.

I prefer the natural look - no tips or wraps or whatever else they put on your nails...I'll just start going for weekly manicures instead of bi-weekly ones - that way my nails get a bit longer...

I already get my nails done every 3 weeks. So, I'll probably get a french done. I LOVE that look. So elegant and clean!

OK I am a nail dummy and have only gotten my nails done once in my life, what is a silk wrap?

I have a stupid question, what is a permanent french manicure? Can you get it done on your regular nails?
Also, if so, do you know anywhere in western long island where you can get that done?

its a tip/wrap that already has the white @ the top - so you will 'permanently' have a french. the white will not chip or crack away like the nail polish can.

they cannot do it on natural nails. i believe anywhere in nassau co will do them. its actually pretty popular - but its a little more expensive than regular tips. ($50-$65 - for the first set)

its a little piece of 'silk' that they glue to the nail and then buff flat - its supposed to help keep your nails stronger - but not be as harsh as an acrylic.

Most likely I will have the permanent french tips.

I already have silk wraps but I will be doing the permanent french for the wedding this way I don't have to worry about chipping

Haven't decided yet - probably just a manicure with a light color, maybe french (depending on what length my nails are then) or tips again - not sure if I want to go back to that though.
