What will/did you engrave on your wedding band **edited

I know this topic has been posted a gazillion times but I am going on Thursday to order my rings and I dont know what I want to have engraved yet. I want something simple. Any ideas?

thanks for the ideas girls......just found out we have to go for the rings tonight instead now I really have no time to think,

I have his-pet-name forever 6-27-08, he has my-pet-name forever 6-27-08

i dont know what we are engraving yet - my ering has always & forever in it - so i was thinking maybe i love you - so it would be 'i love you always and forever' - but we probably will just end up doing the wedding date OR we might surprise eachother with something that only we would understand the meaning of

in mine - it's his choice...it's a choice of 2 things..

in his - i am going to have a WELL USED joke that we use for EVERYTHING engraved in it.. it's a random degrassi reference...

I couldnt have anything put in mine because of the diamonds but in Joe's i had written as a surprise for him 'Whatever it takes 6-28-08' so he knows im in it for the long haul

I couldnt have anything put in mine because of the diamonds but in Joe's i had written as a surprise for him 'Whatever it takes 6-28-08' so he knows im in it for the long haul

I really like that idea Its so hard because I dont want to put something I am going to think is stupid 10 years from now or forget why the hell we engraved it

i couldnt havent anything engraved in mine but in fh's i wrote 'Oh, the places we'll go 6.28.08' an ode to the dr. seuss book about a boy and his new journey

I did 'I will love you forever 6-21-08'

But now I wish I did 'You and me 6-21-08' (that is the title of our wedding song)

DS when did you go pick out your bands? We probably will go in Sept or Oct - is that enough time? Mine is going to be custom I think....

Thanks...i went back and forth about it forever and finally it just popped into my head as i was filling out the form. He didnt know i had it done until we had just finished the ceremony and we were driving to the reception after doing our pictures and i said to him look at the inside of your ring...

He loved it!

Well we actually went in April I think and just looked around and she wrote down what we liked. She told us to come back 2 months before to actually order them. I dont know how long it will take for a custom order but if anything just call her and I'm sure she can tell you when to come.
